Trim Levels

The new Santa Cruz will be offered in five trim levels SE, SEL, Night, SEL Premium, and Limited. All trim options are paired with a standard 2.5L engine with an optional turbocharged engine. The base engine is paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission, while the turbocharged variant is mated to an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission.

The SE variant has several standard features, including remote keyless entry, an eight-inch infotainment screen, air conditioning, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay. Upgrading to the SEL variant gives you convenience features such as a proximity key, remote start, and push-button start. Drivers can also enjoy extra comfort with an eight-way power driver's seat with heated front seats.

Higher trim options such as Night, SEL Premium, and Limited come with an activity package, all-wheel drivetrain, Bespoke dark 20-inch wheels, and unique front and rear bumpers. The Limited variant has more premium features, including leather upholstery with ventilated front seats. It also boasts an eight-speaker Bose Surround sound system.

The new Hyundai Santa Cruz has two powertrains, including a standard 2.5L 4-cylinder engine generating an impressive 191 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque and an optional 2.5L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine generating 281horsepower and 311 lb-ft of torque. When properly tuned, the new Hyundai Santa Cruz can tow up to 5,000 pounds.

Its base engine is paired with a front-wheel drive system with an eight-speed automatic transmission. However, the turbocharged variant is paired with an all-wheel-drive system and quick-shifting dual-clutch automatic transmission.

Both powertrains offer a decent fuel economy, with the base engine performing better than the turbocharged variant. However, customers looking for more power can upgrade to the turbocharged engine, especially if they enjoy an outdoor lifestyle.

Technology Features

The new Hyundai Santa Cruz has an innovative infotainment system featuring a standard 8.0-inch or optional 10.3-inch touchscreen.
